little help please?

OK I have a 97 f150 with 4.6 and I have the spark knock issue going on... I need to check my fuel pressure but really don't know how. Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to do it? I have the gauge. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

plug your pressure gauge here.insure everything is tight. Gas in your face Sucks. now turn the key on, write down the reading. now start the engine and write down that reading.

Bad crackling sound from motor when towing or accelerating uphill. Sounds like marbles rolling around inside the motor. Same noise as if I were low on oil or coolant. I know the fluids are good I check them daily.
