How do you take off emblems

Anyone have any input on this? Looking to black mine out and was confused on how to take them off. I want to black out both "f150" emblems and both "ford" emblems that apperae on the tailgate and grill. Any help would be appreciated

Awhile back I took emblems off of a new car with 12lb mono . Just use a "sawing" motion. Then I cleaned up residue with paint thinner and a Terry cloth rag. I guess if u want to reinstall, you will have to get some double stick tape.

If you want to take them off, you can use the heat gun (just a little) and warm the tape up to pull them. Double side sticky tape to reinstall.

use dental floss, it will cut the adhesive tape. the use a little "goo-be-gone" to get rid of the residue left behind. thats how its done at the dealership.
