Few problems with our 2 87-91s.
89 F250 4x4 351 Zf-5 transmission reg cab long bed flatbed with 16x7 white spoke wheels. It has tilt and cruise in it. It was originally involved in an accident when we bought it and sat for 12 years as of the day we got it running.
First problem is the fuel gauge shows over full when I know there is only maybe 5-6 gallons of gas in the tank. I have a newer fuel pump and sending unit in it. Also when I shut off the truck it goes to half a tank. Anybody know why this is?
Second problem is that both wheels wobble a little bit when going down the road (backroads right now) is this typical of a D50 TTB? By the way the accident was hit in the right side and we replaced the wheels and tires on it but the ones on it from the accident were not bent.
Third the brake are very weak we can stop but you have to push them to the floor. My neighbor says that being it sat for 12 years maybe the lines need re-bled and the gunk out of it. Does this sound correct?
Now to my 88 F150 4x4 302 C6 auto transmission regular cab long bed no tilt or cruise in this one been sitting for 6 1/2 years and just got it recently running correctly.
First problem with this truck is my speedometer doesn't work at all. I took the cable out of the t-case and the gear on the cable is in good shape I turned it and my dad said he saw it moving. So I am confused on this one.
Second problem is that my voltmeter and oil pressure gauge are not moving at all when I drive the truck I drove the truck for 15-20 minutes before having to stop and nothing happened. I do have my battery light on also but I figure this is because it is showing all the way dead battery (I know the battery is good as the 89 F250 shows nothing when I use the same battery).
Third problem is my turns won't work all the time except when I turn the wheel a bit. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. So obviously it is in the column. What exactly should I look for?
I think this is all right now thanks for any help guys and sorry for the long posting. I can get more info on the trucks if needed.

The wobbling tire sounds like a loose bearing, bent hub, or bent wheel, and there is no golden BB that's going to fix that in one swell foop. You'll have to check and adjust the wheel bearings (they need it anyway, right?), use a dial indicator to check the hubs, and use a dial indicator to check the wheels. And you'll have to do it piece by each to ensure that you have a sound base to proceed from before you check the next thing on the list. (Since this is a 4x4 it is also possible the outboard shafts in the front axle are bent where they go into the hubs. They will need to be checked for straightness as well, but I'd do them after I'd cleared everything else.)
The '88 sounds like it isn't charging. You'll want to verify the charging system is working properly.
Can you look into the speedo cable port on the transfer case and see the matching gear inside the transfer case? If you can't then you'll have to find out where it went. If you can see it and it is chewed up you'll have to replace it. If you can see it and it is in the right spot and it isn't chewed up you'll have to see if it is properly locked to the transfer case output shaft. You may be able to do that last without any disassembly being necessary.
I'll defer the turn signal switch to somebody else.
Only thing is though not just my voltmeter isn't working but my oil pressure gauge isn't either which is why I thought was weird. But still will check the charging system.

As for the t-case I didn't feel a gear in there but need to look again. If it isn't in there will a gear off a 2wd 5 speed standard 89 F350 work or how about a 84 Bronco 2 4x4 t-case?
