finally, I would never want to live that long, don't ask me why. My mom works in a nursing home, trust me you don't want to know why.

Strom Thurmond Dies

Born and raised in Orangeburg, SC, "The Good Senator" as the old folks called him, had been a fixture all of my life (28). Must have had some kind of spark right up to the end, wasn't but a few years back that he married a rather attractive lady half his age. I hope he's in a better place today than we are. God bless America and good 'ol Strom.
