Dead f250 found problem couls of been a bad outcome
Hi
I posted the other day about my sons f250 that died on my daughter on the freeway in the fast lane. I diagnosed it all the way to an inoperable Injection Pump. Come to find out I think that the pump drive bolts were removed by one of my sons friends/enemies some one taught them what to do non of them are that smart. When removing the pump no bolts no sign of bolts no wear pattern on the back of the housing like they had backed out no metal shavings. Truck was parked overnight on new years away from home. The only good news is that all of his friends are over 18 now lucky for them or me . Starting the process on re-installing the ip and timing, at least it is a cheap fix and she did not get hurt when it broke down.
