Question new problems

OK have new motor in and no start issue . I guess sitting cold meesed stuff up and just wear and tear on old parts . So replaced return lines and glowplugs with new controller and new wiring for glow plugs . Wouldn't start found out not getting fuel out of a few injectors so j pulled them and they are shot . I have good spares but now do you clean out where the injector goes without pulling the heads

They make a tool to scrape the seat. I just used a small pocket screwdriver and blow out with compressed air. Not to worry if you get a little dirt in the cylinder.

OK do you blow the air through the glow plug hole and the walls of the bore are caked with carbon on the three of them cause they had no copper was her in them. Took patience and pb blaster to get them out

Sorry, Been doing some painting since I'm curently unemployed. If they're really carboned upped. I would just pull them all out. Injectors and glowplugs scrape and you might try a stiff steel bore brush (gun barrel). Clean, scrape, spray (brake clean), blow with compressed air. Just shoot it down in what ever hole you're working on. Then once you get everything cleaned. I would disconnect power from your fuel shutoff solenoid and spin the engine over with the plugs and injectors out, just to blow the bulk of the crud out.

After taking the necessary safety precautions and disabling the engine and IP, I cleaned the injector line nut and injector area with solvent and I blew away the debris with compressed air. I broke the nut loose and cleaned with air and removed the nut. Cleaned the injector line connection with cleaner and clean soft cloth, covered with latex finger end. Loosened the injector and cleaned with compressed air as I went. Removed the injector and using a small 4 wire grabber and piece of soft cloth I plugged injector hole as I cleaned the inner wall area and scraped around the copper gasket area, then cleaned with gentle air. Removed soft cloth and used pick to remove copper gasket, then cranked the engine to blow out any debris that might have fallen into the chamber. Installed injector.

You either have:

1- no voltage on the fuel solenoid. Make sure there is voltage while it cranks.
2- a bad fuel solenoid.
3- no fuel/you have air leaks or a bad lift pump.
4- you have a plugged filter/ you have a plugged prescreen (not likely).
5- you have a bad IP or no gear movement to the IP.

Good luck.

Do you have fuel through the filter and to the front of the IP?

Are your fuel tank pickup lines intact and pulling from the bottom of the tank? The fuel pickup's typically deteriorate so you require half to quarter tank minimally- or they suck air.

Have you loosened the fuel line to the IP to see if you are getting fuel up to the IP?

The solenoid should click when you put power to it.

To test, put one end of your test light on the connection of the fuel solenoid and the other end touching the power feed from the ignition (fuel solenoid power supply) and turn the ignition switch on. If the test light lights the solenoid is ok, if it doesn't light the solenoid has failed or the ground has failed.
