No brake lights

This Bronco is a BEATER with emphasis on bEATer.

I will only spend a little effort on this b4 just running trailer lights to the back & wiring it all new.

I have tail lights & occasionally turn signals.

I have no blown fuses.
The bulbs are good.
Just replaced the brake light switch.

Cruise control will not cancel when I hit the brakes but will if I use the turn signal.

Lastly.....someone spliced into the wire @ the switch & ran the wire to come component on the firewall behind the pedals. It has some sort of button on it.

Because the wires are potentially hacked I will toss on a set of trailer lights to get brake lights if I can't find it quick.

I'm going to post this in rednekkedness thread.

I had a set of trailer lights - I bolted them to the sides of the bronco & wired in a thumb switch.

so now when I hit the brakes I can also hit the thumb switch & I have brake lights.

I found a pressure switch that you plumb into the brake line. $20 plus the fittings.

I will do that as soon as the weather is nice enough for me to want to crawl under the truck. Its all sloppy & icy now. maybe next month.
