arp bolt

Did someone install arp connecting rods bolt on an 400 engine with only the oil pan remove or i have to take it all apart ? the 400 is still on the engine stand.

rod bolt?

whenever installing a new rod bolt in any engine! Need to pull rod and inspect Inside bore specs. make sure the rod bore is round. sometimes things move a little!

They have to be reconditioned, the arp bolts are a bit wider than the stock bolts. besides they need to be pressed like piston pins, they will not go in easily....
