So I changed torque converter and now I've got another problem. When I changed converters it dropper my 60 mph rpm to 1900-2000 from 2200-2300 so now I have a noticeable miss in that rpm range that I can't figure out. Has anyone else had that problem? It was there before but not as noticeable I guess because I wasn't in t that rpm range much. Also I did the oil cap blow by test and the cap doesn't move so no blow by. Also I have no check engine light and hpop was replaced by one of the po it says bosch on it
It wasn't running got because were in negative temps here and I have a external cooler on it but it was running at 120 where now it's at 100. I'm wondering if the miss could be related to the injector orings or cps
I have one from Ford in the glove box I just was hoping that someone had also experienced this and had a for sure fix, it seems off that it happens only at that rpm and isn't logging codes for a cps if that were it. I have access to a modis computer next week and was going to see what fuel system test I can run with it to try and isolate the problem but I won't have it until next week at the earliest I've spent quite a bit on the truck this past month and I'm just hoping it's not an injector going
