I can't believe they lasted this long

I replaced both of my upper control arms today due to play in the ball joints. Factory originals with 135k miles, living down 2 miles of nasty gravel roads and a couple of trips into the ditch in its lifetime. I went with the Moog, they were $40 each less than motorcraft and $20 higher than Autozones Dorman brand. Seem to be well built, made in USA and have a grease fitting. Anyone else have these? I was happy to see that they were USA made, I have seen alot of Moog parts now that are made overseas.

No I didn't. I did it on my lunch break so I didn't have much time to spare. Should have taken a pic of the stock one off, next to the Moog not yet put on. Would have been good for comparison.

Wow that's good mileage and use on the uppers. I unfortunately replaced the lower joints on my 06 last year and that was @ 58k miles. Yes, 58k. Sad isnt it?

You know that's not that unusual. I have put a few sets of lower balljoints in this body F150 and Expedition around the 60-80k mile mark. I believe my lowers were factory when I replaced them at 124k though. Previous owner could have replaced them but it didn't look like it.

I replaced the uppers on my 07 two wheel drive this fall with Moogs. I had around 52k. I like the fact I can give them a shot of grease, and if they go bad I can just replace the joint.

I replaced my upper and lowers at 98000 miles(had it done). I wanted moog. I was actually thinking about raybestos but went with moog instead. They only got a couple thousand miles on them, so we'll see how they hold up. Supposed to have a lifetime warranty though I think. Mine got a grease zerk too, don't over grease them though, they only need a shot a year. You don't wanna blow the boot out.
