I tow a 30 ft. 5th wheel with my truck so my engine is always hot as hell! What wiring setup would you recommend? Not sure I would ever just need low speed unless it is -1 like today I guess.

My starter literally is frozen! Have to smack it...
I had to do that today and it's not even negative anything here. I've been in some very miserable weather and NEVER had to do that before. Wonder what gives.

If you only want one speed, I'd suggest a thermal switch of your choosing, a relay and some circuit protection. I used a Napa ECHFS151 switch to run low and high speed, but it required some machining to get it to fit into the thermostat housing.
Partsplus part numbers: 500-001, 330-079 (x2), 330-080 (x3), and 075-140 will get you all the relays and cool little relay bases you need, INCLUDING one shiny new 70 amp unit AND a sweet relay wiring diagram. Those should all be 5 prong relays.
BUT, I have since ditched those relays in favor of some factory fan relays from a Cadillac something or other that are weatherproof, come with built in snubber diodes and came with a cool little bracket to make a very stock looking install.
