I talked to Bar None last week because I need mine replaced too. Its a 100 bucks cheaper if you take your pipes off and send to them as a core.

Never thought exhaust pipes would have core charge on them.

If you are referring to WHITES DIESEL. F-Him. he flat out lied to me when I bough mine from him.

Called on a monday, he said NO PROBLEM, he had them in stock ,will ship out later today.

Yeah a WEEK AND HALF later, they shipped out from IRATE(NOT from whites). (Gave me some BS story, the employee that took my order quit and Jake(Owner of whites diesel) was out of town so he couldn't ship them out.) For The "$25" I saved, I would have been MUCH better to get them straight form Jake.

To the OP. My pipes fit PERFECT and I would buy them again. This time from Irate though

When are these up pipes usually start going. Do they tick like on a gas vehicle manifold leak? I have 140k miles on my truck

My truck got real loud and I started smelling fumes in the truck after heavy pull and serious decrease in power.

Apparently Jim at Rosewood also modifies stock pipes and adds bellows like some have done on here. That's all I know though. May be worth a call.

Thanks for the heads up Brad. I think I may be going with Bar None. They are less $$ but same quality form what I hear. I am waiting to hear back form them today. Jake quoted me $500 for the stock replacements and I "should" have them by the 15th. I need to know definitely 100% so I can get them changed out before my trip.

Yeah, I am hoping my power levels and my mpg come back up to where it was when I bought it in June. I was getting around 17, but now 14 is a good day. The soot and the smell is no bueno either, especially with a little one in the back saying "stinks daddy"...LOL

They typically do not tick like a gas engine exhaust leak.

BUT you will see soot on the firewall from the donuts leaking

Talked to Bar None today. My new Uppies are on the way! I am stoked to see some power and MPGs come back. Travis was super helpful and could guarantee they be at my door in a few days, so I went with it. He also explained to me why their quality is second to none and how their design is heads above the rest. We'll see when they get here. Thanks for your help guys! I'll update when they get here and provide a few photos. Hopefully no more "stinks daddy" from the backseat...LOL!!

So I just tried putting a wrench to mine. What size bolts are those? 10s too loose and 9 didnt fit. So I went with 7/16 being too big and 3/8 being too small. WTF??? Are those a specialty 9.5 or something?

If those are 10 mm then my new wrench's from craftsman suck cause my 10mm wrench is very loose on it. I guess I will pack a 10mm 6 point socket with some ajax before trying to round off those bolt heads.

I think its less of a problem with my wrench and more of an issue with the bolt head. However its not corroded to where its exfoliating.

Why Ajax? I hadn't heard of this trick...

Thinking Ajax will provide a snugger fit and better grip...... Never heard of this before but good idea. If you do end up rounding off I've used the Sears bolt/stud extractor sockets they work awesome.

Our pipes are about 1/2 the cost of the barnone pipes. Too bad we can't keep them in stock and ready to ship.

I don't know why, but I always get nervous when someone talks their product up so much.
