92 F150 engine swap?

I have a 92 F150,302 V8,automatic EOD and EFI.The engine is still running fine but is getting a bit tired.Understandable with 300K miles on it.What years will interchange with little or no changes?Id like to keep the old girl and just swap in a newer engine.

You can put just about any 302 you want in there. I went with a 2000 model Explorer motor in my Bronco.

Any year 302/5.0 will bolt in there and you could put all the EFI stuff on an earlier carbed motor if you had to, but the ideal candidate would be a '92+ truck 5.0 to get a roller cam and a '94+ to get the improved roller cam. In all cases you do not want to use any wiring that comes with the donor motor,
