Yeah its running i unplugged the vacuum pump so i knew it was running and the valve int the filter housing was deleted a wile ago,i just cant seem to figure this out ive never had a problem with this truck not starting
Great to hear. Maybe all of the cranking after the fuel bowl heater put the batts below the voltage needed to fire the injectors?
Don't forget to put some elec tape over the heater plug end so it doesn't short out on anything.
Okay, now we know we have a fuel delivery problem prior to the fuel bowl.
How much fuel does the gauge indicate?
Often the pickup end in the tank will break. Very common. If you're getting fuel it's functioning properly.
Disconnect the supply side of the pump (frame rail) and attach a piece of 3/8" hose and allow it to flow into a bucket momentarily. If it's operating it will have pressure so have someone else cycle the key for a second or two.
This will tell you if fuel is being picked up. If you have fuel being picked up, attach a fuel pressure gauge and see what the pressure is.
