Hey guys, my dads 2004 6.0 threw up a code while he was on his way to work this morning. He went to Autozone to use their scanner and it pulled up code# P2262. Their explanation is its a faulty Turbo, and wanted him to purchase one in the store. He isn't very gullible and gave me a call when he drove home. So my question to you all is. What could be the problem. He stated that the thing ran like a top, and at no point did he ever lose boost pressure. He also said that his pressure was normal for his driving. I instructed him to look for a sensor, but like me, has no idea what he is looking for. A little help would be great.
The truck only has 104000 on the odometer. Last week he did have the FICM replaced and the mechanic stated that the EGR was clean. I did some more investigating and came across the ICP sensor being faulty or the MAP being clogged. Any clue on what the MAP is? I am not very educated on the 6.0

the map sensor is by the passenger fire wall hanging from the AC cover. the sensor doesn't get to dirty but the hose going to the intake manifold does. unscrew the nipple from the intake and clean with solvent. run some weed eater line down the hose to clear it out. time to clean the IAT2 sensor also. it's located behind the upper fuel filter, remove and clean with Carb. cleaner ,don't get solvent on the electrical part. there's 4 little windows in the tip, the upper two have small wires in them use a pipe cleaner and be gentle
