Manual steering column needed
Anyone have a steering column for a 78 f250 they would want to sell? I need a column for a manual truck as I swapped in a zf5.

Have you posted an add in the WTB section of FTE?

Why don't you just pull off the auto parts...shifter, collar, gear indicator... and replace with a manual collar? If its possible, I have not tried it, just though about it.

You know a slick manual trans steering column is a prized piece, especially with tilt.

Just pull the shifter & gear indicator off or hit eBay.
I know for a fact theirs a manual tilt column going up shortly. Lol.

I think their was someone selling a tilt column awhile back for about half what I'd take for my spare.

Wow...it is brand new? I feel that you might have that for a while, but best of luck selling it though.

Could a new one be built from all reproduced pieces for cheaper? Or are not all the pieces being reproduced I imagine, just curious...

If they are worth that much I better go get the possible 4 or 5 in my local JY.

I'm gonna try stripping my auto column first I guess. I don't need a tilt column.
