I usually hang out in the 57-60 pages and was hoping someone over here can shed some light.
I have 1960 223ci in a F100 that I want to add an Offy intake with two single barrel holly carbs. Offy intake says it will fit 57-59 223. Only difference from 57-59 and the 1960 that I'm aware of is the valve cover on 57-59 has two bolts in top and 1960 valve cover has 8 bolts around edge.
I've been informed the 223 heads are interchangeable from a wide range of years from 53-64 at least.
My question is will a 57-59 intake fit on a 60 head? If yes why does offy intake say 57-59?
To my knowledge all years intake interchange. Sometime around '60 a PCV type system was introduced which was plumbed into the intake. Maybe that is the difference.

I still have road draft tube. So PCV must be after 1960 or maybe a custom cab version of the 223.
