Another intake question

I converted my 3 speed manual 67 F100's intake from a 2bbl to a 4bbl. The 4bbl intake has a opening in the back that the 2bbl intake did not. Is this a connection for the breather assembly? Or vacum for an automatic trans? (my first 352, thanks..)

Yes, the hole in the back is for the older type of PCV or draft tube. You can put aplug in it and use the stock system.
