Right, thats where I am Confused, Ive tried a few diffrent coils no luck on the coil end

I'm not a professional, like most of you guys Just a Guy having a hard time with his truck, Shade tree mechanics know more than I would atm.

And wait a minute, you should have a total of three wires attached to the coil, a "hot" from the starter relay, and a negative that goes into the Distributor and then obviously the so called Coil Wire( that looks like a short spark plug wire) that goes from the center terminal of the coil to the center terminal of the distributor cap.....The + and - terminals on the coil are small, and wired with 14 or 16 G wire, since they dont carry high voltage, while the coil wire is basically just plug wire......I dont know of a "Battery" side of a coil

Get yourself a Chiltons, or Haynes manual.........Use the exact terminology they use to describe the parts, and then describe in detail EXACTLY what you did........Ask FMC, he's pretty darned good, proving you give him the right info

Yep, I call the coil side of That I used[marked battery] a test light hot, because When I turn my ignation on to the on position it is always hot[which lights up] i guess its the negative side that i am talking about doesn't get [a light up on my test light or pluse] at all From the key switch WHEN IM TURNING IT OVER BY THE IGNITION

Ok I know I'm a pain for this but 1 more step back
what caused you to replace your module and coil ?
Did you get the same color of connector going in the module eg. Blue
