That was a '80-'86. I think an '87-'96 with the smooth fender well openings would blend better. You could also just buy new dent side quarters and hang them on the newer bed since the rest of them is the same.

Hey at least he put some effort into that bed swap. Woulda fooled me if I didn't know any better.

My brother did that with his high boy. The bed is an 80-86 just like in the pic. then he did exactly what earthquake suggested and put on 77-79 bedsides which he then had to change out the rear upright to match the contours of the bedsides. Then needed to relocate the rear cross member on the bed if I remember correctly. Then he had to use a piece of flat bar to fill the gap between the bed and frame, which made it possible for him to utilize the factory bolt locations on both the bed and the frame as they are different. In turn giving the truck a factory look as long as you don't look underneath the truck.
