glad to see you got something together that worked well. I haven't done Papermache for 20+ yrs myself...but my oldest kid has been bringing school projects home...so I might have to do some shortly

Just an F.Y.I. for later projects. If your going to put fiborglass onto
plastic. You want to take some heavy grit sand paper and really ruff
up the surfaces that you are going to stick it to so that it will get a good
bite and not come off.

Here are a few things on the market for plastic repair.
This first one seems to work very well.

Plast-aid® multi-purpose repair plastic for your repair solutions.

Plastic Repair : Bodyshop Solutions : 3M Europe

Plasti-Mend Plastic Repair Products

Then there is the thermoplastic welding kits.

Rich,
I got this one in email today and forgot to add it to the list
Lots of composites
FreemanSupply.com - Mold Making, Casting Resin, & Foundry Materials

They might come in handy for a future project.

I have some of the latex molding compound on hand here.
I was looking to make a lens out of liquid casting acrylic.
Just have not gotten a Round-Tu-It.

Some day.

Thought I'd give an update to the thread

I wasn't content with the panel overlapping the outside of cubby hole. I did some trimming so the panel would fit inside the cubby hole.

I installed and wired up all the switches that would complete the panel.

so far, I'm only using 3 switches for Fog lights and Back-up lights.

Here's some pics.

The panel is still not perfect, but, I am satisfied with how it looks now.

Old thread I know, but since it was bumped, I just now saw it for the first time.

Reps to Tylus and Yahiko for their posts.
