Lightbulb Needing Some Advice

So, here's the story. I bought a 1980 Bronco XLT, I ran out of money and the truck sat for a bit and has just gotten to the point where she will need major engine work and will be needing a new body. The frame is solid, I'm planning to Rebuild the 351m as well as my transfer case and tranny (seals went)

To the point I was trying to Make is :

I was thinking about doing a "f100" with a regular cab and Flat deck but I'm just needing some advice to either I should be tracking a 1980's ford to bolt on or is it just as easy to use a 90ish? I just don't want to run out, spend too much money on a better one just to rip her apart, when the scrapper has something that will work. I more or less need to know if the frame is the same width.

Using this site, i found this :

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...onco-body.html

Don't know if it's still live, but I would love all your Knowledge and help with this project I plan on undertaking.

Cheers.
