2012 EB Transmission Shutter?

2012 EB Transmission Shutter?
I was driving Wendy's truck today and noticed a shutter between taking off from a full stop to 2nd gear. And I didn't punch it, just an easy start. She has 47K on the clock with the EB 6 speed trans 3.31 rear. I have only driven this about six times since she got it, it's hers. Is this normal or not? Thanks Chris

You should ask her if she can feel anything odd or different, prior to telling her what you think it could be. If she says, nothing feels different or odd, I wouldn't worry about it.
To answer the question though, my EcoBoost does not have a shudder as described. But mine is a 157", 3.73 so I don't know if that would make a difference.
