Any Suggestions on where to find some original style steel wheels for a 54 f100? I currently have 16s on the front and 15s on the back looking for two 15s so I can order a set of white walls, also does anyone know the lug spacing?
The original lug spacing should be 5 on 5 1/2" spacing.
Ford trucks used the same 5 on 5 1/2" spacing on trucks and vans up through the mid 1990's. The big variations are in how the center hub cap attaches. Hopefully someone will come along who knows more about that than I do.
In the below Kelsey-Hayes diagrams you'll see that the hub cap nubs in the first picture are on the inner edge of the wheel center (K-H designation "R"), and in the second diagram the nubs are on the outer edge of the center (K-H designation "RB"). These are the "C" measurement. The "R" wheel is correct for your truck. On that wheel the "C" measurement is 8.092". The "RB" is a later wheel, and I find a few different Ford/Merc/Lincoln wheels having different "C" measurements on a 15" wheel having your 5 x 5.5" bolt pattern. A common figure looks to be 10.75", but don't spend any money based on that observation. Places like Summit and Coker sell new reproduction wheels like you are looking for. Stu
