Wheels

Any Suggestions on where to find some original style steel wheels for a 54 f100? I currently have 16s on the front and 15s on the back looking for two 15s so I can order a set of white walls, also does anyone know the lug spacing?

The original lug spacing should be 5 on 5 1/2" spacing.
Ford trucks used the same 5 on 5 1/2" spacing on trucks and vans up through the mid 1990's. The big variations are in how the center hub cap attaches. Hopefully someone will come along who knows more about that than I do.

Good looking truck

In the below Kelsey-Hayes diagrams you'll see that the hub cap nubs in the first picture are on the inner edge of the wheel center (K-H designation "R"), and in the second diagram the nubs are on the outer edge of the center (K-H designation "RB"). These are the "C" measurement. The "R" wheel is correct for your truck. On that wheel the "C" measurement is 8.092". The "RB" is a later wheel, and I find a few different Ford/Merc/Lincoln wheels having different "C" measurements on a 15" wheel having your 5 x 5.5" bolt pattern. A common figure looks to be 10.75", but don't spend any money based on that observation. Places like Summit and Coker sell new reproduction wheels like you are looking for. Stu

5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle:

1953/79 F100 / 1966/96 Bronco / 1969/74 E200 / 1975/96 F150 / 1975/2013 E100/150 / Some 1980/83 F100's.

Some 1980/83 F100's have 5 lug wheels on a 4.50" bolt circle.

1966: Last year for F100 "innie" wheels, so called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.

"Outies" so called because the hubcap snaps onto tabs located on the outside of the wheels center section.

F100 outie wheels were introduced in 1965, but some 1965/66's still came with innie wheels. 1967 and later, all are outies.
