FTE Near San Antonio, TX?

I'm not usually an early planner but when there's Ford trucks involved...

Looks like the family and I will be traveling to the San Antonio, TX area during Spring Break time (late March for us). If there are any FTE'ers in that area that would want to meet up let me know. I have not officially discussed this with my wife so we'll work on plans as we get closer to that time. Maybe a few FTE'ers could just happen to park near one of the historical sites we might visit and then I'll have to walk over for a look...

I hope to hear from some of you!

That should be one of the banner motto's for this site! It cover's so many of the situations we find ourselves in with these ol' trucks.

Rojak, if you are passing through Austin on the way to SA, stop at a Waterloo Ice House restuarant (chain) and see if they still sell the T-shirts with the 48/49 truck on it. Take a look at the thread called 'Look what my wife got me' or something like that and you'll see a picture of the shirt in one of the replies. Probably can't find them anywhere else and the food at the place is pretty good.

Tom, I checked out the Waterloo Ice House site (Waterloo Ice House Austin, TX » Cold Beer & Good Food) and it looks pretty cool. Looks like there are eight of them in the Austin area. I love music so Austin would always be of interest. If I go through that area I'll look for the shirt. Always in the market for a limited edition Monkey Face shirt.

Ross, I'd love to see that happen. The look on my wife's face would be priceless! I think the in-laws are going with us (this is ok!) and my Father-In-Law is still selling Fords so he'd love to see that as well.

Thanks Bill! Now that would be very cool. I'm not sure we'll be there that long. I'm going to have to sneak a look at the itinerary.
