It should be in the trunk . If the liner is still covering the sides , there should be an access panel or hole . I thought they were on the passenger side , air ride switches were on driver side ( on Merc. models ) I may be backwards .
Oh , it is not a rocker switch . It is an auto trip manual reset push button switch .
Thanks,
I bought a this Crown Vic today but it is in Nevada. It isn't getting fuel & the relay was swapped out the filter was checked, but I'm positive the the fuel cut off switch was not checked. This car sat in the County yard for 6+month. I'm betting that is the problem. But I only have $420 in the whole car. I saw the car a few months ago, so I knew what I was buying. I'm going to take a car trailer up to get it anway I just thought I would confirm the switch location. The guys that were checking it out were GM guys. Got to know Ford used that switch.
Thanks,

They have a LOT of fuel pump issues . 3 years ago I replaced 4 pumps in cruisers in one night ! I was at the shop till 9pm . Bonaroo was going on , so all hands on deck .

I'm planning on trailering it to a buddies shop 275 miles away from where the car is now. I have never had an issue with Delphi pumps & I see Rockauto.com has the Delphi complete unit for $191 shipped to me.
Thanks for the dose of reality. I'm hoping but who knows how much or how long gas has set in it also.
These pumps are Easy to change ! You do not have to pull the tank most times ! You just need to drain the tank to at least 1/4 and pull the pump assy. SAFETY is A MUST ! Done safely , easy job !

I wondered about that. Is the tank assemble on the side? The way the picture of the new pump assemble looked, it appeared to be side mounted.
The tank is below a 1/4 of a tank now. I have a shop to do it in. We will take it to my buddies Race Shop to do it.
Any further tips much appreciated. Thanks for that tip.
The tank is between the rear axle and trunk . It stands up . The pump will come out of the tank without dropping the tank . I cut the 2 wires going to the tank pressure switch unplug the pump connector remove bolts and pull pump . Replace pump assy and reconnect pressure sensor wires with but connectors .

Thanks for that info. So the pump is facing towards the front of the car? That will save a bunch of time.
My buddy & I are planning on going to get it in March when the weather is a little warmer, & we won't have to deal with snow going to get it. We have a few passes over 6000 ft to go over. We will take it to his shop in Southern Nevada. His boy & I will then get it road worthy & then I will drive it home to Arizona. His boy builds drag cars & drag races a Dodge Demon with a 572 Mopar @ Las Vegas.
But I'm the only guy with Ford experience & that drives Fords in the bunch. I must say though I own a Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 V-10 also.
