Hose replacement

Anybody have suggestions on hose replacement?

Dealing with a used vehicle, how would you decide when to replace radiator hoses, heater hoses, vacuum hoses...when you have no idea if they are OEM or replacement.

When I depended on my 73 GMC Jimmy offroad rig to get me back to civilization. LOL

Several times a year I would squeeze across the upper and lower hose's while coolant is cool, pay attention to any thin or soft feeling spots..

One hose should have a steel spring wire in it for reinforcement I think.

I have not checked my new 200,000 mi truck.

Good luck I really don't know except for what's above. You can always buy the hose's and replace if you go down for other repair.

Sometimes the hoses blister or look stretched out. If you really want to test take a pressure tester to the system and pump it to designated pressure, if everything holds I would leave it alone.
