rear end
does my 06 E150 have an 8.8 rear end? what spline is it. if so is it the same bearing sizes and carriers since like the 80's when they first came out? i know my 98 e 150 was an 8.8 and it was the exact same as all earlier 8.8's

If it's an 8.8 then it's got 31 spline axles. A quick look under there at the rear cover will tell you if it's an 8.8. the cover is somewhat square with rounded corners. 10 bolts in the cover.
