I headed across town and thought I felt the truck miss but it wasent hardly noticeable. I then took off at a stop light and the truck bucked real bad. Then would catch itself. I pulled off and it idled fine. I went to move and when you were letting the clutch out is when it would buck/cut out real bad. It's not and unvh issue there both new and I've had that issue before. No check engine light either. Where should I go from here? Thanks

CPS and or its shared ground with the wiper motor.
Well I'm not quite sure. I buddy have it to me awhile back cause he said ul need a spare at some point. Il get one from IH or ford if that sounds like the problem
Mine did the same type of thing a couple years ago and I had changed CPS as that is usually the cause. Kept doing it and changed out the IPR and never an issue since then. Something to look into.

Same here. Check for oil in your ICP electrical connection. Changed it out with an OEM ICP and my problem was solved.
X4 on the CPS. Definitely get a motorcraft one. The parts store models may only last a couple of months (my first hand experience) and are almost the same cost. Bite the bullet and get a spare to put in the glove box too. If your lucky the CPS will give one or two episodes like you described above and then you will be dead in the water.
Well I put a new ICP in it a couple months ago due to oil in the plug but I haven't done anything with the IPR since I've Owned it. I'm going to try the cps and if it doesn't fix the issue I will get my buddy with a snap on scanner and see what it says
Well I threw the spare cps in and it seems to have fixed the problem. I only ran it about 2-3 miles to my house so far but didnt cut out at all and ran good. I plan on getting a ford/IH cps soon since I don't know what brand this one is
Was your old CPS black? If so, it's one of the original ones that were recalled. Get a few blocks from the stealership and swap it back in, then ask them to replace it under recall.
As for your IPR, make sure the tinnerman nut on there is not loose. Lastly, if this problem keeps occurring even after this CPS swap...what is your fuel level at? If below a 1/4 tank, it could be a broken pickup foot in your fuel tank. But it sounds like you found the problem so we will keep our fingers crossed.
