COP coil recommendation

At 142000+ miles I am seeing signs it is time for new coils (slightly rougher idle and slightly lower fuel economy). Plugs were done previously.

Many people in the past have had good experiences with some of the sellers on E-bay. It looks like a full set is currently selling for between 55 - 75$.
Any recommendations? Sellers or brands to stay away from?

Thx

I'm not so sure you can asses the rough idle to lead to COP's.
Usually they either work or don't. They don't loss their strength of spark due to usage. It's not like an alternator with brushes to wear out. It a coil that's energized, not moving parts.
Have you checked you air filter, MAF, IAC, vacuum leaks in pcv elbow, etc.
How old are your plugs?
Sure the recommendation to change is every 100k max but don't trust them to be efficient that long.
With 310k, the engine purrs with 6 out of 8 COPs original.

I always inspect the boots for cracks and replace all of them if I find even one that is bad.
As was said , the coils have no moving parts , and either work or don't.
They can leak off as cracking from age occurs, and by that I mean the spark shorts to surrounding areas .

There is a set of 8 on sale for the next 3 days for only $45.99 with free shipping. Hard to go wrong at that price.
