Has anyone seen these, I was planning on making my own panel to go behind the og bezel but doesn't seem to have enough room to allow for all the gauges I planned on using, so was curious on the quality of the panel and if anyone has a better picture of it. Thanks and here's the link to the site. Classic Dash :: Ford :: Ford Truck :: 1980-1985
That's pretty interesting. I had no idea any company went through the trouble to make aftermarket dash panels for newer trucks like ours. I would be interested in their quality of fit and finish-and if they make a non-a/c version. I wonder why they don't make a new dash pad for our trucks. It can't be THAT difficult for a company with the right tooling. Especially since most of the technology in these trucks is barely post war.
Right! I would like to see how hard it would be to make a dash top out of fibreglass or carbon fibre, figure use the old one as a template to lay the material over.
They look great, I also wonder if they do a non-ac version. I'll have to check if other brands of gauges will fit those cutouts. Wonder if they can do a " blank version" I.e. no ac or gauge cutouts?
