8.8 rear end fluid

Manual says synthetic 75-140 thing is that stuffs spendy, can I just use 80w90 or should I just buy it. ( facts only )

My Sterling 10.25 rear takes 80w90 per the manual and I even called the dealership to double check. Interesting the difference in weight and synthetic

80 w90 will work just fine they claim the synthetic will help your gas milage

$42 a gallon for the correct stuff on Amazon (Lucas synthetic). I would do that:

Lucas 10122 75/140 Synthetic Gear Oil - 1 Gallon : Amazon.com : Automotive Lucas 10122 75/140 Synthetic Gear Oil - 1 Gallon : Amazon.com : Automotive
