Crossmemember is NOT the same. The gasser one has a HUGE hole in it for the oil filter. The diesel one does NOT. But YES, perches can be swapped but drivers side will only have 3 bolts holding it instead of the original 4
No they are not there is a hole where the oil filter comes out for the gas truck. You will be missing one bolt on the driver side engine mount take it from someone who has done the swap.
My mistake guys, what I meant to say was that the gas support can be used for the swap. I guess they're technically not "the same", but they can be used.
The 460 gas cross members are identical to the 7.3 cross member. Has the exact same holes and all four bolts on the driver side mount will bolt up. The 5.8 cross member is the one with the large hole for the oil filter.

My 460 frameS have the same exact hole as a 5.8 frame

IDK. I've got two 460 truck frames and two PSDs out there and they look the same. All four bolt holes for the driver side PSD motor mount are there on the 460 frames. I didn't unbolt the driver side motor mount on the PSD and look under it, but the both the 460 frames have the smaller holes like the PSD. Neither of them have the large hole for the oil filter.
This first pic is a '96 F250 ECSB 4x4 460 gas truck.....
This one is a '92 F350 CCLB 4x4 460 gas truck. I already removed the 460 motor mounts from this one cause it the one I'm doing the PSD swap on. You can see all four bolt hole for the PSD mount and both have the same two smaller holes as the PSD, no large hole for the oil filter.
