I got it prepped and ready to install basically except my dad swears I'll never get any kind of engine mounts for it. How is this 302 gonna bolt into my 250 4x4? And where can I get the mounts and out of what truck? It had a 300 in it w/ the front mount if that matters. Thanks again!
well hmm.... would it be all that hard to just fabricate some mounts to attach it to the frame rails or is that not a good idea but that is a possibility for me? Any help is appreciated.
I gotta tell ya, Ford has made over a 100 million V8 engines and anyone of them will fit in your truck. Millions of inliners as well and not to mention that other brand of engine that often (to often) finds its way under the hoods of these old beasties. Ford mounts are plentiful in the junk yard and many aftermarket companies sell do it yourself adapters. If your truck is 65-79 Ford parts will allow bolt in installation of all FE motors, all inliners, all small block and big block engines. If your truck is older than 65, adapters are available to install that small block you have.
