f100 1966 speedometer problems
The 4 screws around the face of the speedometer release it from the bezel but the bezel would usually be brought forward from the dash for working room. 8 screws holding the bezel to the dash (4 top and 4 bottom). About the time you pull the bezel forward an inch or so the speedometer cable will stop you and it needs to be unscrewed about next. The speedometer will be in a housing that you will see once you can see the backside. Take the whole housing off with the speedometer. Be careful as you separate the bezel from the speedometer as the 6" round glass face could try to drop out once everything is loosened up.

Sounds like not much that the average person can adjust in a speedometer head as I have always heard in the past. Looking at some on eBay on the back side I do not see any adjustment location.
