ABS controller
my 97 ford f150 4X4 has an odd brake issue. It does not matter if its in 2 or 4 wheel drive. But when the road is slick and use my brakes, not stomping it to the floor, it seems the front brakes will briefly lock up and then the front wheels will chatter, one side will lock up and then release and the other side then locks up. I have never had a truck that has done this before. I do know I need to get a brake job done....is the ABS controlled via the computer or how???? I am no mechanic.
