Hey everyone I was at the wrecking yard and scored the power steering brackets off of an 84 and an 85 f150 for upgrading my 67 f100 to power steering I know they can be hard to find sometimes I have an extra if anyone is interested
The best steering upgrade is to use the bracket and Saginaw pump off a mid eighties Econoline van, with the engine you have. The Sag. pumps put out quite a bit more umph. That is why guys running hydro boost brakes use them.

I have two sitting in my garage.
Hi -
What is your asking price for the bracket and Saginaw pump? Please PM me.
Here is a photo of the type of bracket you want. It holds an oem saginaw pump which is stronger than ford pumps. It is found on an early to mid eighties econoline van with a 300 engine. You can walk into any auto parts and buy a rebuilt pump for around $50. Since the core charge is about the same as I would pay for a used pump from the j/y, I didn't want to mess with a greasy part.
**Note: When you take the bracket, be sure you get the mounting bolt fastened into the back of the pump. It is a specialty item that is worth its weight in gold. You have to have it with the bracket.
your also going to need threaded studs where the bracket mounts to your timing cover with nuts between the bracket and the bracket and then more to hold the bracket on those you can get at the hardware store but the ones for mounting the pump you'll need find in the wrecking yard but Ford ,Chevy and Dodge used those pumps as well so you may find them pretty easy. F250 restorer pointed me in the right direction I just thought I would share what else I learned along the way. And don't forget your gonna need a steering column to fit with the new power steering box.

Hello,
I know its been a long time, but do you still happen to have the brackets?
I am installing power steering on my 69 F100 and i need the brackets.
thank you,
George
I would definately use the Saginaw pump. Ford used them on several models, so they're not only a GM item. Most to the Econoline vans used the Sag. pump, for good reason. Good luck. BTW, The EFI year vans have such a slick aluminum bracket that it is tempting to swap to a serpentine belt set-up just to be able to use that bracket, but, I have to stop somewhere.
