NOS Speedometer
Has anyone every found an NOS speedometer? I've got an NOS fuel gauge and temp gauge from ebay for about 20-$30 each both were fairly easy to find. Been keeping an eye out for an NOS 1960 (grey face) speedo but never find one.
Mine isn't bad just been slowly trying to find all new gauges.

I found two for my 59, bought them both. One went into the truck when the original failed, the other is on my parts shelf. They are out there, you need to monitor the Bay daily, or better,twice daily, and hope for an auction with the "Buy It Now" option.

I believe I paid around 75 or less for each.
Having the old one rebuilt is also an option, which I did, since I try to keep plenty of spares. It was not cheap where I had it done.
Daily monitoring of eBay makes you aware of when a seller is asking the going price, a ridiculously high price, and a bargain basement price for items. Anticipating future needs,and having cash in hand (I have a monthly parts allowance) means I am seldom without the part I need. My wife is usually up in arms about why I store parts I am not using, but she comes around when I show her how having that part on hand before it fails has saved us tons of money and headaches.
