Ford Nomad ?
Ok, Heres the story ...My uncle bought this truck a long time ago from a man that told him its "rare" cause its a supposed Ford Nomad. The guy had a whole story about how there were only a few made because Chevy sued ford for the nomad name. it has nomad logos on it but they look like Chevy emblems. My question is "IS this a Joke/ Is My uncle a D/A " its a bare bones short bed step side no p/s no a/c no p/b Base Truck all around has a 300 I6 with a 3 speed. Thanks ! .....Possibly becoming my next Free project.

They very well could be Chevy (GM) emblems... pull one off and post the numbers/ID strings on it. I'll bet it's not from Ford, I'll bet this lawsuit of which you speak is made-up malarchy to try and fabricate perceived value in what is actually a redneck conversion.

From the looks of the other things on that truck, I'd say there's an excellent chance of redneck conversion. You wonder what people are thinking!

I'm wondering if they put the brush gaurd there on purpose or if they drove through a childs swing set and thats where it stuck

No such thing as a Ford Nomad, someone stuck Chevy emblems on.
Nomad's were Chevrolet station wagons, initially 1956/57 two doors. Later Chevy applied the name to a series of 4 door wagons.
