FYI- locking hub interchange info
Thought I would share this real world info on locking hubs! I took the hubs off my 1986 f350 and put them on my 2000 f350 and they bolt up and work fine. I did not need any nut kit or whatever it is they say you need to adapt manual locking hubs from autolocks. However the 2000 f350 hubs do not bolt up tp the 1986. They slide in, but not far enough to put the retaining ring in. I did this because the hubs on my 2000 wouldn't disengage even after disassembling and cleaning/lubing them, and nobody has the milemarker manual hubs in stock right now. So it seems that any f250 with the dana 50 or f350 from at least 1986 on up should work. Hope this helps someone!- Scott

Yep! I just did a small hillclimb on my property and the 4wd worked fine. I think I will have to plug the vacuum line for the hubs, but I haven't done it yet. I have had great luck with the older ford factory hubs and they are plentiful. In years of use and abuse with big tires, heavy loads, and beer behavior I have yet to have one fail. I might try to find a set and use them instead of buying new milemarkers.

78-04 F350 hubs will work.
99-04 F250 hubs will work.
