tailgate wiring
where does the wiring go for the tailgate im not exactly sure where through the fender it goes, my tailgate window dosnt go down and i put a light tester to the wiring and i didnt get anything

tailgate wiring
The wiring runs down the L frame rail to the firewall connector, where it goes inside. One of the wires is continuous power from a fuse; another is for the defroster grid (if the truck had it originally); and the other 2 go to the dash switch, which has its own fuse on key-switched power.
The Haynes manual wiring diagrams show it.
