Ford audio accy
Howdy guys,
Has anyone installed one of the following devices in their truck to connect AUX audio devices?

I've found it for about $100 on ebay AND Amazon etc....

They just indicate that your radio MUST have an "AUX" control on the front panel.

On my 2003 Excursion, I use a PIE adapter.
I have the OEM, indash 6-CD changer/radio.
By using the PIE adapter (and maybe the brand you have referenced as well) I just hit the CD button and it toggles between CD-1 and CD-2 (if no CD's in the head unit), then it defaults to the my external SAT radio I have hardwired into my head unit.
The head unit sees the adapter as a remote or secondary CD player??? However, not all model years and radios work this way - not sure why (my head unit does NOT have a AUX button by the way).
Guess you could buy it and try - as long as you can return if it does not work?

If you have the aux button on your stereo, they work great. I have a PIE as well. I switch between sat and iPod on mine.
