i have a 2002 F-250 4x4 and i hear something squeaking for about 5 minuets when cold driving. i dont think its a belt because it doesnt squeak when idling nor if i rev the engine. only squeaks when in motion and only for a couple minuets of driving. Anyone know what this could be?

With so much of your suspension riding on rubber bushings, it's not uncommon to get some initial squeal.
I personally wouldn't lube the fittings but it might help, especially the anti-sway bushings that are frame mounted.
Springs and/or coils can also talk back at you.
last year my front leaf springs squeaked creaked and groaned until I retorqued the u-bolts and found them loose as heck. this year the right front has developed a small squeak under compression....not sure what that is
Could be a number of things. Suspension wise, check your bushings in the spring eyes. Check the tip inserts at the tips of your Leafs. Definitely check your ubolts are torqued accordingly, the squeak is definitely annoying but if your ubolts are loose you could have much bigger problems if you don't address that.
ATS Junior....u have any experience with the ubolts continuing to loosen? How many times should you retorque before replacing? I know they are TTY bolts so they can only stretch so much before failure.

It really depends on what material the U-bolts are made out of. Usually, and someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but once TTY bolts, including U-bolts, are loosened that is when they should be replaced.
The Ubolts we sell are a fine thread, deep nut. When we do our installs with ours, we torque the ubolt to spec during install and then a few miles later we r-torque to spec again once everything settles. We almost never have to go back and re torque again. If I were you I would look into getting some new Ubolts especially for your own safety. Send me a message and I can get you some pricing.
