I'm fixing to put a carb kit on my 81 F150 with 351. Where do I disconnect the throttle linkage? I'm thinking at arrow A in the pic. I've seen also at arrow B. Does it pop off at arrow A? I don't want to break it. Thanks.

 

Yes, get a big flat blade screwdriver and put the blade down inbetween at the tip of the red arrow in the picture and twist the screwdriver, it will pop right off.

 

Thanks. Since this is fastened a little different from what I've
worked on, I figured it popped off like you said but wanted to make sure
before I tried.
