2014 f350 tire/rim upgrades

Just bought a 2014 F350 Supercab 4x4 SRW FX4 & snow plow prep packages. I don't like the stock Mich LTX AT2 275/70/18 tires. What size tires will fit on the stock rims & not rub without leveling or lifting? What about going new rims & tires with different offset / backspacing? If I do go with a level kit how much does it affect the caster & steering? Thanks for your input.

Man you asked a lot there .haha Take some time and do some research as to what look your looking to achieve and ask more specific questions. There are several threads on wheel, sizes and fitment including backspacing explanations and all that. Some guys run 35's on the stock wheels with no lift.

tire & rim update

Went with Toyo 295/70/18 tires on a set of 2004 super duty Harley Davidson wheels. Set the tires & rims about 1-2 inches further outbound than stock. Nice look and great feel driving. No rubbing issues. Plenty of clearance in the wheel well. One small issue with the tpms. A call to the local Ford parts dept. said the tpms was the same part # for 2011 on up including the 2014. Ordered a set off dorman 974-006 tpms for the install. Have found out now that these do not support the new oem on board re-learn system. Have now ordered a set of Oro-Tek OSC-0315 TPMS that are supposed to be compatible with the oem relearn. Hopefully they'll work.

do you not like the stock tires because they are too small looking or because they have too mild of a tread? I've noticed that sometimes just switching to a more aggressive tire in the same size will look a lot better, mostly because the more aggressive tire will have a more blocky look to it.

Your stock tires are around 33" tall and around 11" wide, if memory serves me. There is a member on here that has 35" tires on the stock wheels and his truck looks good. He does have a leveling kit though.

If you go with a leveling kit you will need to have the front end realigned because it will change a bit. You might not notice it when driving it, but it will change enough that eventually your tires will start wearing funny.

I liked the stock rims but didn't like the Mich LTX AT's. They had no traction at all in the snow or even in my wet grass for that matter. I'm sure they're an excellent highway tire though. I had the larger 295/70/18 nitto terra grappler mt's on my 2008 f350, stock rims and a 2.5" readylift front level and rear lift. I liked the way it looked and handled but I didn't like the quick wear out of the nitto's. I had the toyo's in a stock size on an older 2006 f350 and really liked them for traction, handling, and long wear life. That's why I went back to the toyo's and the larger than stock size. As for the rims I figured while I was changing to the new tires I'd keep the old ones on the rims and ready to put back on if needed. Started looking into new aftermarket rims and found there weren't a lot of choices for hubcentric rims. Then I found that the oem 04 super duty Harley rims were hubcentric but with a different offset that would set them further outbound than the stocks. Figured I'd give them a try. So far glad I did. They look awesome on the truck. If someone can tell me how I'll post a picture of them.
I'm planning on the readylift sst stage 3tp this spring. Will definitely get the alignment done after. I was waiting to hear some feedback on how this system works on the 14's before going with it. It worked on my 08. A slight increase in bumpsteer but it was manageable.
