I ordered an extra sensor, it's floating around the truck somewhere in one of the many stash places. I will probably remember where I put it when I need it, hopefully won't. May or may not be the best $30 bucks I've ever spent or not, worth the piece of mind until it's time to "Delete" all that crap...

Welcome to FTE!

Sorry about your truck issues. Most folks wind up on a forum somewhere because they had an issue what ever they bought or want to learn more about what they plan on buying. I hope you stick round and learn and help all of us learn about why we're here. There's a lot of good people here.

I want to chime in on this. If ya'll don't know the DFW area had an arctic blast blanket our metroplex with ice. I didn't add any anti-gel or plug my truck in on thursday night. Needless to say the next morning (Friday) I fired my new '13 up, let it warm up for about 5 minutes, and went about my day happily driving BECAUSE NOTHING BAD HAPPENED TO MY TRUCK AND I AM PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE!!! Just had to vent...thanks

Speaking for myself, a $50 sensor replacement doesn't bother me at all. Getting stranded in a remote area or cold weather with family onboard "because of a failed sensor" and having to get a tow to a dealer would **** me off.

4 Sensors. All the same part number.

AC3Z-5J213-B

I just paid $52 at my local ford dealer. You could probably find them online a little cheaper but I did not have the luxury of waiting a few days for the part.

I bought a $59 reader that was on sale at AutoZone for $49. It can read and erase codes. Some of the more costlier units can also give you the explanation but since a list of DTC's for most vehicles can be found online, I elected not to go that route.
Several threads on FTE list the codes for our trucks.
