2004 randger binding trans

can any one help with a trans that binds up from time time . all fluid were changed last month it is a 5 speed manual

Binds up as in will not come out of gear, will not go into gear, gears bind up and stop turning? What exactly are the conditions that cause it to bind up. Parked trying to get in gear? We just need more details to offer suggestions.

when i am driving i get a bang and the truck slows down for a split second then run fine for about 2 or three miles then does it again it shifts fine

OK, lets describe the bang better. Does it seem to come from the engine compartment, the exhaust system, the drive train transmission and driveshaft or rear axle? When it goes bang, are you accelerating or decelerating or steady speed driving?

it seem to come from the trans in the front end it sound more like a clunk . i have changed the u joints and checked the rear end and changed the fluids
