Thanks for the help fellas I was trying to do my best in helping him out but being under the weather is kicking my but feeling a lil better today and not working today so I'll have more pics in my album today .
I may get it going and sell it so I can get a 250. My thought originally was to lift it. The guy I got it from hit my harley with his truck and caused some damage so I got the truck rather than the 4000 estimated to repair bike as I just had back surgery and cant ride for another year anyway. Maybe in the mean time i can find something to haul.
Cold don't really bother me can always get warm the precipitation is what sucks not having a garage the truck will fit in . Can't do to much cause I rent and the city will be on me if I build something . One day I'll move to where I can build a nice pole barn with a nice heated concrete floor lol.
My truck fits in my garage with 2 feet to spare..I hear the pole barn thing. I have a buddy that has a 4 car with the heated floors and man is that nice. Can lay under the truck all day and feel nice and warm!
ah that nice stuff is just for softies.real men lay out in the snow bank lol.
(im one to talk.i despise old man winter.)
you sure picked a hash riding truck with a bad back.did you run her around a bit yet? might want to see if your up for it before putting money in something that might kill ya.mines not bad at all due to the long wheelbase.the regular wheelbases have got to be pretty mean.whats wrong with the exhaust?
The exhaust problem is that there isn't any. It ends mid cab. Looks like something should be there? As for my back I can drive just fine. Surgery went good and doc just gave me clean bill. Issue on bike is to much vibration and no protection at all. If someone were to hit me in this truck I'd feel bad for them
Very slowly. I finally got my reverse lights working right and got my dash back together. Had to put a starter in it the other day and now after testing looks like it needs an alternator. I was under neath it today and noticed that the frame was shortened. I truly hope that doesn't screw me to get it on the road. The guy told me they did it I just didn't realize how they did it. The cut it, took out the amount they wanted then welded it back together with a full size rail bolted to it as well. It looks like a solid structure.

yeah no worries there.im learning this is very common practice with the larger trucks like ours.
mines been lengthened in the same manner yours has been shortened.sounds like it was done properly.
Wow mine was done almost the same way. Mine has the same frame piece stuck in there and has 6 bolts in each side of the weld. Here in ny they can be quite rude about things like that though. I am licensed vehicle inspector but they wont let me inspect it. Anyway, now I need an alternator and a mirror glass and some exhaust parts. And I have little to no money. Story of my life..
