Rusted brake lines

My mechanic said that I should start thinking on replacing the steel brake lines on my 99 exp. for the front brakes. Should have the hoses replaced too?
I have not been able to find the steel lines.

You have to buy straight brake line and form your own bends.
Yes, replace the hoses too.

Local parts stores should have them. You can buy different lengths/fittings or buy a whole roll of tubing.
