I am looking for a set of brake lines for my 73 Highboy but i cant seem to find any. They are all for either a 2 wheel drive or other years. Is there any places that you guys know of that sell them for the highboy or maybe of another set that fits, I want to get my roject done, mudding season is coming fast. Thanks
What brake line? Need more info. Ive totally redone all the brakes on my 75 highboy and didnt have any problems finding the soft lines, hard lines i just bent up myself..
I replaced most of the steel brake lines on an old ****** 6 years ago. Most of the pieces were first quality but one piece was an imported (cheaper) 3 foot length. I had to replace the imported piece due to corrosion recently. So Highboy 390fe, learn from my mistake, use only top quality steel lines. Happy bending...
If you're picky, i found complete pre-bent stainless brake line kits for the highboy at two different places. I think one of them was inlinetube.com and the other was classictube.com. Otherwise, the soft lines are usually available at a good parts store, and just buy stock lengths and bend you own for the others. I was able to find all of the soft lines, including the one at the rear axle.
